We try very hard to ensure that all information on this site is up to date and accurate. However, errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will tell you and ask you whether you wish to continue with your order or cancel it.
We have made every effort to reproduce the colours of our products as accurately as possible via the web but the colours you see on screen are for reference only and should not be relied upon as a definitive guide. If you have precise colour requirements please ask for our free colour chart.
Credit Card Security :
We use the SagePay payment gateway to process our on-line orders. Protx is one of the leading payment service providers allowing transactions to be processed by Lloyds Merchant Services. This is probably the most secure credit card payment method available, using all the latest encryption methods. Your card details are entered on our site and then passed via an encrypted link to ProtX for authentication. We do not retain your card details.
In order to protect our customer card payments Creativity International Ltd is a participant in the Mastercard and Visa 3D Secure program. In order to protect your transaction you may be prompted to authenticate yourself or possibly prompted to enrol your payment card in the 3D Secure program.
Standard delivery charge is £2.95 + VAT per order to UK mainland (excluding Scottish highlands). For other destinations please contact us.
We only deliver items to the UK mainland. Orders received from elsewhere will be cancelled and refunded at our discretion. Customers wishing to order from outside the UK mainland should contact us in the first instance by email to arrange/cost delivery of the items.
We aim to dispatch all orders within seven working days, earlier if possible. Should there be any significant delay with your order for whatever reason, we will contact you. Any out of stock items will be back ordered and delivered to you as soon as they arrive. There will be no further postage charge for back orders. If you wish to cancel an item(s) that are not in stock once your order has arrived, we will happily refund you. We will give you updates as to the likely delivery time for any back ordered items.
The delivery address you give us MUST have somebody there to accept deliveries - work addresses are always a good idea. If the courier service is unable to deliver through no fault of their own, and the delivery is returned to us, we will refund your order, but will deduct the charge from the courier.
Next Day delivery:
Orders received before midday Mon - Fri excluding Bank Holidays) with next day shipping option will be dispatched with courier (usually TNT) for next working day delivery subject to courier's terms and conditions. If items are out of stock we will advise as soon as possible.
Returns Policy :
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Please check the goods on delivery and ensure that they are supplied correctly. In the unlikely event that any of our rolls are defective we will happily refund the purchase price of any of these rolls, however we cannot take any responsibility for any other costs or consequential losses howsoever incurred.
We take every precaution to package our orders to ensure they withstand the rigours of transit, but occasionally materials can arrive damaged. If you receive damaged goods, please contact us by email in the first instance so that we can arrange for delivery back to us. We will replace or refund the goods as you request.
If the item(s) you have ordered are not exactly what you wanted, please return them to us within 7 days of receipt. Please enclose a copy of your invoice indicating the items being returned. We will be happy to refund you for the returned items providing they are returned in their original condition. If the item(s) returned come in sealed packs, these must be unopened. You must pay the cost of returning the goods and you will be responsible for their safety during transportation. When returning items please obtain a free proof of postage from the Post Office as we will not accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit back to us. Any substitute goods should be ordered through the website as a new order in the usual way as we do not offer an exchange service.
Some items do not travel well in jiffy bags. It is your responsibility that they are packed so as to avoid damage in the post as goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition. If any returns received by us are not in a re-saleable condition, we may only offer a credit of 50% of the retail value of the goods to be given against a future order with us.
Our policy is to make this website a valuable resource for photographers and as such we often link to external websites. Castle Hill Crafts is not responsible for the content of these sites, nor does linking to a site imply endorsement of opinions expressed or products and goods referenced in them.
